3D Cone Beam Scanner

Our Sirona Orthophos XG 3D Cone Beam Scanner provides us with complete three-dimensional X-ray views of the jaws, allowing us to fully understand important structures.

three dimensional x-rays allow us to diagnose anomalies such as superimposed teeth, unexpected nerve canal paths, hidden roots, or temporomandibular joint problems. Our skills and technology allow us to plan and implement our implant surgery with absolute precision and total confidence.

Trusted by professionals

Our highly advanced 3D scanning facilities provide us with stunningly precise, high quality x-rays. Beyond sheer quality, our scanners also have the benefit of a dramatic reduction in x-ray exposure when compared to CAT scan 3D imaging. As a result of our commitment to pushing the boundaries of dental technology, our facilities are sought after by both dental surgeon colleagues and local hospitals - both of which recognise the clinical benefits, and importance of utilising such advanced equipment in ensuring patient care.

CEREC Bluecam

CEREC technology has been described as the most superior digital chair-side experience for both dental surgeons and patients alike. In 2008 we were delighted to have taken delivery of one of the first UK CEREC Bluecam units, illustrating our fastidious commitment to providing world-class patient care. With the employment of our highly advanced CEREC machinery, our principal dental surgeon was able to create three-dimensional oral scans, allowing him to construct beautiful ceramic inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges and veneer restorations for same appointment cementation. Extraordinarily functional, beautifully aesthetic restorations were the result. The ability to restore to such a high standard in a single appointment has proved to be remarkably revolutionary for both our patients, and our team.

CEREC Omnicam

Always aspiring to be at the peak of technology and progress, we took delivery of the CEREC Omnicam unit in 2014, allowing us to produce three-dimensional images in colour. This meant we were one of the first practices in the UK to embrace the revolutionary ‘CEREC meets GALILEOS’ concept. The latter allows us to combine CEREC technology with 3D X-rays to produce incredibly accurate surgical guides. These offer the highest levels of precision for implant placements. Robert has frequently been asked to lecture on guided implant placement protocols and enjoys much respect from the profession for his keen interest in guided implant surgery.

CEREC Prime scan

2021 saw us take delivery of the latest technology in CEREC - Prime scan. Our third and latest addition. The new Prime scan offers outstanding trueness and precision with an innovative smart pixel sensor which processes more than 1,000,000 3D points per second, and dynamic depth scan technology for perfect sharpness up to 20mm depth. Truly beautiful dentistry.

Microscopic detail

All of our work is performed under high levels of magnification using state of the art Carl Zeiss dental loupes and a Carl Zeiss Microscope. All procedures are carefully documented using high-resolution dental photography.
