CEREC Crowns

We no longer use a laboratory to make our crowns, they are all made with our CEREC machine, and are hand-painted and glazed by Robert.

CEREC treatment time is 3 hours. Robert prepares the tooth and scans the tooth, the arch, and the opposing jaw along with a bite registration. The scanned data is then edited and loaded into the computer where he meticulously designs the restoration, with a fastidious commitment to precision. His design is then sent to our state of the art MCXL milling machine for the restoration to be sculpted. During this time our patients can wander into the market town of Totnes, or relax in our waiting room. When the milling is complete, Robert hand paints and glazes the restoration, after which it is baked to completion in the furnace. We then call you back in and the fitting takes place.

Our fee for CEREC Crowns, Onlays, and Inlays: £935

If you require an Implant retained crown within the Implant process, then we will incorporate our laboratory "Oral Concept", as this is a specialist field of expertise.
